Our Interpreters
All our interpreters and translators are sourced from the
local community. Many of them first came into the office asking
for advice or support. From there we were able to advise them
as best we could. Operating within a diverse community meant
that we knew the need for interpreters/translators of many
different languages and dialects. This is why those who were
already qualified would be able to work for us, and those
who aspired to become an interpreter or translator could be
signposted to training that would help them achieve this.
After CCA opened the Learning Centre in late 2005 we were
then able to offer training which would enable many more people
to gain employment in this field, and also meant that we could
tailor the training package to the practical needs of our
clients.
We can provide Interpreting,
Translation,
Website Localisation and Desktop Publishing
All website localisation will
be done using Macromedia Dreamweaver. Desktop Publishing can
be done using a number of programs, including Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Macromedia Fireworks and
Macromedia Freehand.
