Strategic Aims
Ten Steps to Twenty-Ten
In 2006 we devised a five-year strategy that would take us up to 2010. We agreed on ten steps that we felt were important for our continued growth:
- To develop financial sustainability and reduce reliance on government grants with 50% of income derived from contracts and trading by 2010.
- To develop influence such that CCA’s opinion is valued and sought as part of decision making at local and regional level.
- To develop excellence in all services/activities (frontline; advise sessions and support) demonstrated by 90% of client feedback being rated as good or above by 2010.
- To create new services that meet client needs and increase self development and improved quality of life with at least one new service per year.
- To develop existing services so they meet clients’ needs and improve self development and quality of life.
- To develop infrastructure to support expansion over 2006 – 2010.
- To develop collaboration to meet ever increasing need/demand. Focus on constructive; meaningful; sustainable collaboration with local, county level and regional agencies.
- To address environmental issues, encourage saving of energy; water; reduce waste, paper, transport etc.
- To achieve Quality Marks such as QAF; Matrix Excellence; ISO 14001, Kite Mark; Community Mark; & Legal Services Quality Mark.
- To develop human resources through `Skills for Life’ by providing continuous professional development; training opportunities to management team members; staff; volunteers and community members.
